Kreindler partners Jim Kreindler, Megan Wolfe Benett, and Noah Kushlefsky were successful in resolving all cases In in a multi-million dollar settlement agreement. Attorney Kushlefsky was named by the court as Lead Counsel.
What Happened
A Greyhound bus traveling from Albany, New York, to Montreal, Canada, slammed through a median guardrail and rolled down an embankment, killing the driver and four passengers. Forty-eight other passengers were injured in the tragic crash which occurred in the Adirondack Mountains.
Kreindler’s prosecution focused on a punctured Goodyear front tire that had a slow leak. Greyhound maintenance inspectors had either not noticed or failed to correct the damaged tire. The tire over-heated as a result of the slow leak and blew causing the bus to roll over and crash.
