Kreindler Files Claim Against City of New York in Park Injury Case
Attorney
Kreindler has filed a claim against the City of New York, Department of Parks and Recreation on behalf of the family of a three-year old who sustained severe burns to the bottom of his feet.
The park, which features water activities that children use barefoot, had an exposed metal ramp that became dangerously hot in the summer sun. The burns required the child to be hospitalized for 11 days and left him with permanent injuries.
Kreindler & Kreindler partners, Marc S. Moller and David Beekman share the parents’ outrage that this danger existed and that, thus far, the city has refused to correct the hazard.
