What Happened
An empty, out-of-control school bus careened across a parking lot and down a hill injuring several children and killing a 9-year-old boy from the Bronx who was waiting to ride a pony. The victims were part of a school field trip at Masker’s Orchard in Warwick, NY, organized by Nativity Catholic School. According to witness accounts, 4 boys had entered and been playing in the runaway bus and were able to jump out of the moving vehicle prior to it rolling down the hill.
